The Butcher’s Daughter
The Butcher’s Daughter is a plant-based restaurant, cafe, and juice bar located in Venice, California. We specifically sought this place out after hearing about it and it did not disappoint. First of all, it’s gorgeous. Head to toe. If this could be my new house, I would take it in an instant. They have these beautiful, worn down, white wooded foldable doors leading to their patio seating. There’s copper wiring for their lighting and their stools, and they have copper mugs. They also have butcher block trays for some of their food, and hanging plants everywhere.
I mean, honestly, it perfectly embodied my aesthetic into one place, AND provided me with the most delicious pizza I have ever had in my entire life. Can we go back, please??? I’ve literally been craving it ever since.
I not only recommend checking this place out, but I recommend going there early. We went on a Saturday, I believe, and had a while to wait for our table. Thankfully, there was this Artists & Fleas marketplace going on at the same time on the same block so we were able to shop around a little before heading back to finish the afternoon with the most amazing meal. I will not forget it.
—Or stop thinking about it until I get it again. (hint hint girls)
